Dear Curriculum Committee Members,
We would like to express our gratitude for your press release issued on 11/20/24 regarding the recent internal and external messaging for the proposed 96-credit degree programs.
We share your concerns about how this messaging is inaccurate, misleading, and undermines shared governance. We fully support your request to President Bix and Provost Bowditch for accuracy in future messaging and respect for the processes of faculty governance.
In solidarity,
The Plymouth Union Caucus

Dear colleagues,
Although we appreciate the scheduled events, preparation time, and ability to connect with our PSU community this week before classes begin, we fundamentally disagree with the changes to the opening and closing dates of the PSU Center for Young Children and Families. This is an issue that impacts staff and faculty alike and places an undue and stressful burden upon valued members of our PSU community and their children.
We hope that this is an issue that can be further discussed and remedied. In the meantime, we advocate for increased flexibility for attendance during University Days sessions by providing Zoom and recording options.
Sincerely,
Plymouth Union Caucus (PUC)
